Wild Ones forms Delmarva Chapter

| chapter-news

The new Delmarva chapter of Wild Ones is proud to announce its formation and inaugural program. Wild Ones Delmarva aims to promote native plants and natural landscapes throughout the Delmarva Peninsula through advocacy, education, and collaboration. The new chapter would like to highlight the ability of native plants to help protect and restore biodiversity, improve air and water quality, provide people with year-round aesthetic landscaping and wildlife with quality food and shelter.

Wild Ones Delmarva is seeking chapter members to create an inclusive community of diverse voices and backgrounds interested in learning, growing, and connecting people and native plants for a healthy planet. All are invited to join the chapter at its first free event, “Fall Seed Collecting and Welcome Meeting” at 6:00 pm, October 23, 2024 presented by Environmental Concern at Chesapeake Culinary Center, 512 Franklin Street, Denton, Maryland 21629 with a virtual participation option. You RSVP to chapter representatives at delmarva.wildones.org/events, [email protected], or by calling 410-656-9713.
